Fast and Accurate Gluing and Quality Assurance Management

Valco's OT-120 terminal is the ultimate touch screen data entry system. The OT-120 terminal uses an array of simple pictograms and market-specific program symbols for fast and easy setup or changeover.

The OT-120/VCX can accept and integrate up to sixteen different glue valves and sensors for multiple and specific applications. The system can also run other technologies including the high-performance MARS scrap ejector. In fact, all the quality assurance technologies listed above can be managed and run from one simple touch-screen monitor—the OT 120.

Mars Scrap Ejector:
The high-speed, compact MARS scrap ejector compliments Valco’s inspection systems by reliably removing faulty blanks without disturbing product flow.

The ejector can accurately and repetitively kick out faulty blanks at top speeds. A crosscheck photo eye ensures that the faulty blanks were ejected.

By interfacing with the stacker or compression table, the MARS ejector eliminates potential gaps in shingled rows that could result in faulty cartons. It also interfaces with the kicker allowing accurate batch counts even when faulty blanks have been ejected. In the event the folder/gluer is temporarily shut down, the MARS ejector can also be programmed according to glue drying time to automatically remove dried-on blanks

Binary Code Maker - for your carton specifics

Valco's BinCodeMaker (Binary Code Maker) software generates EMS , Bobst and custom bar codes for insertion into carton artwork. The client software generates a postscript file (*.ps) at the network or local location of your choice. This file can be imported into most illustration software and colorized, resized or used as-is. The codes are readable with Valco's EMS-brand CDS sensor family. For technical assistance, please contact Valco Cincinnati.
