Did you know that upgrading your fluid regulator will improve glue pattern quality and reduce waste?

The 593xx105 Fluid Regulator, Gauge/Gauge Protector, and Shock Arrestor combo was originally used with Valco Melton cold glue systems for high speed paper converting applications.  When connected pneumatically to the Valco® EPC portion of a variable speed pattern control assembly the adhesive pressure would rise and lower proportionally with speed of the machine thus providing a consistent adhesive pattern through and during these changes.

However, the New 593xx408 Pressure-Balancing Glue Regulator is our new standard as it has significant improvements over the 593XX105. The new regulator provides more accurate and consistent glue pattern volume control and balances adhesive volume when an abrupt stoppage in production occurs. When adhesive pressure has built up, the 593xx408 piston pulls up, creating volume that relieves the downstream high pressure in the lines and therefore prevents adhesive "flooding" on machine restarts causing defective product. This is all done without costly external bypass valves and plumbing.  The 593xx408 comes complete with a simple to use manual pneumatic over-ride handle and air/regulator for manual control operation if needed.
