For a precise and streak-free super gloss finish, a hot-melt glue coating is applied to the top of the surface. A perfect, uniform coating with a controlled coat-weight is key for a flawless end result.
With the support of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), Valco Melton has been awarded funding to focus on developing the latest in dispensing technology for optimal high-gloss finishes on MDF boards or 3D shapes and profiles. In this ERDF “Eureka” project, Valco Melton has been able to develop machinery that manufactures high-gloss finishes with higher productivity rates at reduced costs.
