PackChek is Valco Melton's automated hot melt inspection system and the ClearVision solution for packaging. Mounted at the discharge of the packer, PackChek captures both a thermal and visual image of each package as it leaves the line. The thermal image identifies the heat signature of every hot melt adhesive bead, while the visual image verifies bead placement and catches physical package issues like crushed or open flaps. Out-of-tolerance product is flagged for removal before it leaves the plant, giving teams the visual evidence and inspection records they need to understand quality events, troubleshoot recurring issues, support traceability, and make faster, better-informed decisions.
