GlueChek is ClearVision's original adhesive pattern inspection system. When a gluing problem is found, GlueChek shows the defect on the screen, notifies operators by alarm, then marks the defective box and saves an image of the gluing problem. By identifying and removing all defects before shipment, box makers can now provide 100% perfectly glued boxes to their customers. Having saved a picture of every defect builds operator confidence, helps maintenance troubleshoot and increases customer satisfaction.
The new GlueChek+ camera takes pictures and analyzes all water-based adhesive patterns with or without UV additives to ensure that no gluing problems exist. Enjoy the same high resolution images of the box and glue lines but without the need for UV-fluorescing material in the adhesive that adds to overall adhesive cost and can make compliance with food packaging regulations more difficult.
In addition to detecting gluing defects, GlueChek+ recognizes problems with tab or panel length, skewing, folded flaps (on multi-point gluers), printed marks, sheet width, and unwanted glue on the back side of the sheet.
